Travis Kelce’s Mom Sends Telling Message Amid Taylor Swift Rumor: ‘Wanted to Let Everybody Know… ‘

Every day, it seems like there’s a new update to report on the life of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The famous couple has been keeping a low profile of late, but that hasn’t kept people from speculating about them. Kelce has kept up his podcast, and he did confirm he would be returning to the Kansas City Chiefs for another season in the fall—which explains his desire to spend some quiet time with his girlfriend after all eyes were on them during the Chiefs’ regular season and postseason and while Swift was on tour.

But there’s also the fact that every time they step out together, there are questions about an upcoming wedding or if the two are ready to settle down and expand their family. The question has seemed a little like it has taken over their relationship, and Kelce’s family apparently has feelings about it. Or do they? Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mom, clarified a confusing series of events that occurred after Kylie Kelce and Jason Kelce welcomed their new daughter, Finnley ‘Finn’ Anne Kelce.”

Like any good grandma, Donna just had to share a video of her other son, Travis, meeting his new niece for the first time that her two sons shared on their podcast, New Heights. She captioned the post on social media, “the sweetest.”

One of her followers then commented, “Trav’s going to make a wonderful father, just like Jason!” That’s still within the realm of normal, until reports started going around that Donna had liked the comment. Especially considering who Travis is dating. This is when Donna stepped in to clear things up.

“There is a post with my name on it and it’s not me. Just wanted to let everybody know to go out there and unfriend this person. She’s pretending to be me and it has a profile picture of me with my finger up to my lips, and a picture of me and my brother and sister-in-law. I have reported her and hopefully Facebook will take this down immediately,” she said.

It’s unclear if she’s referencing the supposed heart emoji or not, but she did go on to reveal that her official profile now has a blue checkmark, so fans can know for sure it’s her. The heart emoji seems to have disappeared from that comment, which is the strangest thing about this confusing series of events. So does that mean it was real or not?

Either way, Swift and Kelce have stayed away from the spotlight the past few months, and it has been very much on purpose. “A lot of their time is spent at home just relaxing. Despite their fame, they’re really just like any other couple,” an insider told Page Six recently. “They like to cuddle on the couch and watch movies, play board games, spend time with family, cook dinner together and just hang out,” the source added.

Another source also told US Weekly that Kelce wants the focus to be on the field this upcoming season. “He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted,” the insider explained. “He wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor.”
