Khloé Kardashian shares on her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, why she doesn’t let her two children have sleepovers.

The Good American co-founder shares her two children—daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 2 —with ex Tristan Thompson. On Khloe’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, she had the CEO of UFC, Dana White as her guest on the latest episode that aired on Wednesday, April 16. During the episode, Khloé disclosed that she doesn’t allow her children to have sleepovers and the reason why.

“I don’t let my kids sleep anywhere. I’m very strict about it,” she said. “Times are different, so I won’t let my daughter, or my son, who’s 2½, but they’re not allowed to have sleepovers just because I’m one of those types of… I just — I think too much. I’ve watched too much Dateline.”

In 2022, Khloe also expressed she wouldn’t let True sleep over at her sister Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s home during a Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test video. Kourtney asked her sister if she would ever let True stay overnight and have a sleepover at her home. Khloe responded, “Probably not.” Khloe did not disclose the reason on the outlet’s internet series.

Within the podcast, Khloé also talked about her kids, but specifically about dreading the thought have becoming an empty nester. “I don’t know if I’m gonna like being an empty nester,” she admitted. “I’ll probably shave my head and go nuts or something. Or buy a ton of animals.”

But the reality TV star also shared how she thinks that by residing near her mom, Kris Jenner, and her siblings she is “brainwashing” True and Tatum to do the same. “What I think I’m doing now is I’m sort of brainwashing my kids to think this is normal to live next to your mom, so then, when I’m old enough, they’re just gonna think, this is what you’re supposed to do,” Khloé elaborated.

In an episode of The Kardashians in June 2024, Khloé talked about how she loves being a mother amid the scrutiny she has gotten for being “too mommy” and being too present with her children.

“For some reason, I keep getting dissected and scrutinized for being ‘too mommy.’ Like you spend too much time with your kids, you never want to be social, you don’t have any friends, but for me, I genuinely feel like I was made to be a mom and there’s no other place I would rather be than here with my kids,” the 40-year-old said.
