Kay Adams gave Houston Texans kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn “a lot of grief” after his stray golf ball hit the sportscaster at the NFLPA Classic, held at El Camaleón Golf Course in Mexico.

Sportscaster Kay Adams dished out “a lot of grief’ to Houston Texans kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn after she was hit by his stray golf ball during the NFLPA Classic in Mexico.

Held at El Camaleón Golf Course, the NFLPA Classic sees the stars of the NFL hit the course in Mexico with the likes of Sauce Gardner, Von Miller, Austin Ekeler and Aidan Hutchinson battling it out to see who comes out on top.

This year, Adams has formed part of the tournament coverage, alongside Damon Hack, Dan Orlovsky and newly-signed New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston.

However, Adams was left slightly aggrieved after she was hit by a stray golf ball from Fairbairn, which she initially believed had been struck by Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton.

Speaking on her show, ‘Up and Adams’, Adams revealed how the incident unfolded, with Fairbairn ultimately owning up to being the culprit of the stray golf ball.

“Did I not just say, my biggest fear was what?” said Adams to former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder out on the course in Mexico.
